Difference between Hackers and Modders

I can clearly see a diffeence between Hackers and Modders.

I see myself as a Modder.

Definition of Modder : Someone who use his abilities to improve the game applying changes through modifying the .CFG .

Thats how i see myself. I use my mods only to create a better game, more fun game, and for everyone. ( btw always in unranked )

I also NEVER use health commands.
The only things I have in regular games are
-an ent_remove-ish command
-rage unassign
-setting stuff to normal color
-warning texts

Players such as : Mr_Bean_Teddy14 & SOVIET_SANDVICH are Hackers.

Definition of Hackers : Someone who Abuses his ability to mod.
Making him ruin games, abusing the mods.
Mostly known for the use of
-Noclip,
-Buddha,
-Health mods,
-Using rage buttons (suck as ent_fire !picker sethealth 0 )
-Sending innocent ppl to unassigned
-Changing their name ingame to:

• -DUKE_NUKEM
  
• -The Cube
  
• -HACKER
  
• -H4X0R
  
• -HIIIIIII
  
• -SANDVICH
  
• -DEMOPAN
  
• -VAGINEER
  
• -Color themselves black
  
• -Taking other weapons than the class weapons. (Mostly Knife or Rocketlauncher)

-YouRDunn4 (Change team ingame without dying to avoid enemy fire)

-SackboySackbot ( color hacks, buddha, noclip )
-orangevalek ( color hacks, buddha, noclip )
-CheezAce ( main of orangevalek)
-theleader016 ( is able to mod, but don't see him that often)

-jetfire54 ( uses hurtme -99999 and noclip so far i've seen )

Thank you for the information you listed. Often when I see certain names, I leave server because because of past history of abusing the hack codes such as Buddha or floating through map. In part because my PS 3 freezes after whoever crashes a server or my game save data gets corrupted occasionally and I try to avoid that. Welcome to the site

The only ways to let a server crash or let someone else his playstation freeze.
Is when:
-when someone uses ent_remove on a player, cappoint, or has deleted important game functions
-when someone has wrong mods, and uses them in-game.
-when someone placed to many codes on 1 bind.

There is no difference. Hacking is just an incorrect way of calling config modifying what it is. You either abuse modding or you don't, that's the difference.

Indeed and i seperate them by giving them a name.

Hackes for the Negative form of use.

Modders for the Positive form of use.

Well my opinion on the matter is that the ones that spam kill while being invulreble, make the map messy with props & weapons, and sends people to unassigned is the kinda shit that ruins a room. Other than that just a modder testing new mods and not ruining the game is no biggie and if ur in a modded room and somone isnt modding its fun to fuck with em once in a while for a good laugh. If youve seen me ingame fuckin somthin up its just cuz im testing something new im not an abbusive modder but i do mess with non modders sumtimes in modded rooms and ya i no the spelling sucks but ya get me
